Day 1: Arrive Cairo
Welcome to Egypt, the gift of the Nile as described by Herodotus. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by Memphis Tours representative who will help you during passport control, luggage area and customs formalities. Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check in and overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Pyramids Tour / Felucca On The Nile
After breakfast, relish a day tour of sightseeing by a private vehicle. First, see the ancient capital of Memphis which was founded by King Menes and was the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom. Then proceed to the Step Pyramid at Sakkara which was designed by the architect Imhotep for his master King Zoser. After that, visit the pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus at Giza. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, dates from the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Overnight in Cairo.Early evening embark on a traditional felucca; watch Cairo at night while sailing in the Nile. Overnight in your Hotel.
Day 3: Cairo Tours / Fly To Luxor
After breakfast, first, visit the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen. Then you will be transferred to the airport for an evening flight to Luxor. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in your hotel.
Day 4: Luxor Hot Air Balloon / Nile Cruise
Early morning Pick up for your hot air balloon ride over the West Bank of Luxor. Return back to your hotel to freshen up. In the afternoon pay a visit to the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history that was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco Roman period. Then pay a visit to Luxor Temple that was built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 5: Luxor Sightseeing
Early morning, no time is wasted in immersing you incredible excursion takes you to Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial. After that enjoy the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty. Then onto Colossi of Memnon. Return back to your 5 star deluxe Nile Cruise, relax, freshen up and enjoy your lunch. Overnight on board.
Day 6: Edfu / Kom Ombo
After breakfast, you will begin sailing down the Nile to cross Esna Lock. Stopping off at Edfu. Visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus at Edfu that was built during the reign of Ptolemy VIII to Ptolemy XII and considered the most preserved temple in Egypt. Continue sailing south towards Kom Ombo and stay overnight on board in Kom Ombo.
Day 7: Kom Ombo / Aswan
See the Temple of Sobek that was built on the honour of two deities the crocodile-headed Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus. Sail towards Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 8: Aswan Sightseeing
Enjoy a day’s sightseeing in Aswan. Start with the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk which is considered the largest piece of stone ever made and most probably this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut, then on to the beautiful Temple of Philae, which is devoted to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. Sail to Elephantine Island on a local felucca boat. The island named Elephantine as it was a major ivory trading center or because Egyptians first saw the Elephant in this district. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 9: Aswan / Abu Simbel / Cairo
Early morning disembark from your Nile Cruise and transfer to Aswan airport for flight to Abu Simbel where you will have the choice to see the exquisite Abu Simbel Temples. After your guided tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Aswan. From Aswan you will take a flight to Cairo where you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Cairo.
Day 10: Cairo / Amman / The Dead Sea
You will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for flight to Amman, Jordan. Welcome to Jordan. Upon arrival at Amman International Airport, you will be met and assisted by Memphis Tours representative who will help you during passport control, luggage area and customs formalities. Transfer to a hotel overlooking the Dead Sea.
Day 11: (Dead Sea - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Wadi Mujib - Kerak - Petra)
Morning departure to the south through the King's Way. After that pay a visit to the Christian Town of Madaba
