Day 1: Luxor Arrival.
You will be met & assisted at Luxor International Airport by our representative, and handle all your procedures through passport control, luggage area & customs formalities. Then you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 2: Luxor West bank Sightseeing.
Breakfast at the hotel - early in the morning optional hot air ballon ride - enjoy an excursion to discover the West bank of Luxor. First, visit Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial, there are many kings buried in this valley. The most known tombs are King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII. After that enjoy the masterpieces of the ancient Egyptian tombs, that of Nefertarie, wife of RamsesII and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, It was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty(1490 - 1469 B.C). the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt - Then pay a visit to the Colossi of Memnon - back to the hotel - overnight in Luxor.
Day 3: Luxor West bank Sightseeing.
After Breakfast, enjoy a full day visiting the Theban West Bank, the city of the dead - the vast royal mortuary temples erected as Houses of Eternity for the cult of the king, the Tombs of the Nobles containing exquisite relief and painted festival and funeral scenes, the village of the royal workman who built and decorated the royal tombs, a rare settlement site, with their beautifully decorated tombs with perfectly preserved color, Temple of Madinat Habu. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 4: Luxor East bank Sightseeing.
Breakfast, then pay a visit to the East bank of Luxor where you can enjoy an excursion to visit Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco Roman Kingdom. After that move to Luxor Temple. It was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty.King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad - back to the hotel - finally visit Luxor Museum —At Night, Optional Sound & Light Shaw at Karnak area. Back to hotel & overnight.
Day 5: Dandara
Breakfast at the hotel (Full day cruise on the Nile to Dandara) enjoying the peaceful river and viewing the farming villages along the river banks. Arrive at Dandara to visit to the well-preserved and roofed Ptolemaic-Roman Temple of Hathor goddess of love and joy, which is located at the north of Luxor. Lunch and tea are served on your cruise boat in the afternoon. Return to Luxor cruising along the Nile experiencing the rural landscape of Upper Egypt, unchanged for millennia. Overnight in Luxor. (This trip runs every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday).
Day 6: (Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan)
Breakfast at the hotel, drive south through the semi-arid landscape of southern Upper Egypt to see the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the most complete of the Egyptian temples—at Kom Ombo visit to the remains of the unique double temple to Sobek and Haroeris, teetering on the banks of the Nile. Back and overnight in Aswan.
Day 7: Aswan Sightseeing.
Breakfast at the hotel, an excursion to visit Kitchener’s Island, St Simeon, nobles’ tombs—by boat to the Old and Middle Kingdom tombs cut into the rock high on the West Bank, overlooking the islands and granite outcrops marking the start of the first Nile cataract, Island of Plants (Kitchener’s Island), a lush botanical garden with tropical vegetation imported by the eponymous British soldier. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 8: Aswan Sightseeing.
Breakfast, then enjoy an excursion to visit the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile. Proceed to visit the ancient granite quarries where a flawed obelisk dating to the 18th Dynasty lies unfinished and it is also called the Unfinished Obelisk which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. Most probably this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th dynasty and the royal wife of king Tuthmosis II. This queen was the owner of Al Deir El-Bahari temple in the eastern bank of Luxor. Also there is an opinion said that it belongs to Queen Nefertiti. After that Pay a visit to Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, reconstructed on a landscaped island following the flooding of the original island. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 9: Aswan Sightseeing.
Breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a trip to the Temple of Kalabsha, which has been dismantled and re-erected on a hill near the High-Dam site (Western Bank). This temple was originally built by Toutmosis II and Amenophis II at Kalabsha, 40 miles south of Aswan, and was restored during the Roman conquest - finally enjoy a felucca ride to sehel Island - then pay a visit to the Nubian Museum, excellent collections of Nubian life from the Neolithic to the present, beautifully displayed in an award-winning building. Back to your hotel & overnight in Aswan.
Day 10: Aswan Sightseeing.
Breakfast at the hotel, a day’s sightseeing to the Museum of Elephantine Island is located on Elephantine Island and has artifacts primarily related to that area. The white clapboard house where the museum is located also has the distinction of being the former villa of Sr. William Willcocks, the designer of the first Aswan dam. Some the more notable exhibitions at the museum include a mummified Ram of Khnum, a golden bust of Khnum, statues of Amenhotep III with goddesses and prehistoric schist basins. Enjoy a felucca ride around Aghakhan & Elephantine Island. Overnight in Aswan.
Day 11: Abu Simbel Temples
Breakfast at the hotel and enjoy an excursion to visit Abu Simbel by a PRIVATE air-conditioned vehicle. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to RamssesII himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramssess II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramsses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. Flight to Cairo for the first of three nights.
Day 12: Giza Pyramids
Breakfast, then enjoy an excursion to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus & see the Sphinx and the Valley Temple and visit the solar boat Museum. After that visit to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities to view the richest collection of Pharaonic art in the world. Proceed to Old Cairo as you are going to visit The Hanging Church, Mari Gerges Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. End your tour by the treasury collection at the Coptic Museum. Back to the hotel & overnight.
Day 13: Dahshur & Sakkara
After breakfast, day tour to Dahshur, Sakkara, where you visit the pyramids predating the Giza pyramids - the cathedral - like interior of the Red Pyramid is an engineering marvel. Continue to Sakkara, the necropolis of the ancient capital city of Memphis, to see the Step Pyramid complex which contains the earliest pyramid and Egypt’s first building in stone, the pyramid of Teti is the first inscribed pyramid, containing the Pyramid Texts relating the king’s ascent to the stars - the Mastaba of Mereruka has remarkably detailed and finely rendered painted scenes of daily life - back to hotel & overnight in Cairo.
Day 14: Museums Tours.
Breakfast at the hotel, enjoy an excursion to visit Mohammed Nagy Museum, where you see the most marvelous Paintings of the greatest artists in the world. Abdeen Palace and Museum; you see a memorial made of bronze and granite of Mohamed Ali, Firearms hall, a memorial of German Emperor Frederick riding his horse and medals. Then continue to visit Salah El Din’s Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali
Day 15: final departure.
Transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
