Day 1: Arrive Cairo
Welcome to Egypt, the gift of the Nile as described by Herodotus. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by Memphis Tours representative who will help you during passport control, luggage area and customs formalities. Then you will be transferred by a wheelchair private air-conditioned vehicle to Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel, a 5 star hotel provided with adapted rooms for the disabled travellers. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2:Pyramids / The Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, relish a day tour of sightseeing by a private vehicle. First transfer to the accessible Egyptian Museum, well-paved site for wheelchair travelers, where you can see the magnificent collection of Tutankhamun, among many other fascinating pharaonic artifacts. Move on to the accessible Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, dates from the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Fly To Luxor
Transfer to Cairo Airport for departure to Luxor where you will be met and assisted, then taken by a wheelchair air-conditioned vehicle to board your M/S Amarco, accessible 5 star deluxe cruise boat for wheelchair (disabled) travelers. After lunch on board, pay a visit to the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history that was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco Roman period. Then pay a visit to Luxor Temple that was built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4: Luxor West Bank / Sail to Edfu
Early morning, no time is wasted in immersing you incredible excursion takes you to Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial. Day 5: Edfu / Kom Ombo
Visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus at Edfu that was built during the reign of Ptolemy VIII to Ptolemy XII and considered the most preserved temple in Egypt. Continue sailing to Kom Ombo to see the Temple of Sobek that was built on the honour of two deities the crocodile-headed Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus.. Lunch on board. Continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6: Aswan Sightseeing
Enjoy a day’s sightseeing in Aswan. Start with the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk which is considered the largest piece of stone ever made and most probably this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut, then on to the beautiful Temple of Philae, which is devoted to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. Sail to Elephantine Island on a local felucca boat. The island named Elephantine as it was a major ivory trading center or because Egyptians first saw the Elephant in this district. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7: Fly To Cairo
Transfer to Aswan airport for flight to Cairo, where you'll be met and assisted at Cairo International airport and driven to Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 8: Departure
Breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for departure.
