Day 1: Arrive Egypt
Welcome to Egypt, the gift of the Nile as described by Herodotus. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by Memphis Tours representative who will help you during passport control, luggage area and customs formalities. Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check in and overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Al Alamein / Marsa Matrouh
Breakfast, drive to Al Alamein, the site of a great battle during WW II, and visit the WW II Museum and Cemetery. Drive on to the beautiful bay of Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean Coast, situated 290 km west of Alexandria , 222 km from Sallum and 430 km far from Cairo Overnight in Marsa Matrouh.
Day 3: Siwa Sights
Drive to Siwa Oasis. Visit the old fortified town of Siwa, then see the ancient tombs in the Mountain of the Dead as well as the Temple of Amun which was dedicated to God Amonalso called the oracle temple where Alexander the Great consulted the oracle. Overnight in Siwa.
Day 4: Siwa Sights
After breakfast, pay a visit to the springs of Siwa, and bath in the bubbling pool, Cleopatra's Bath. Overnight in Siwa.
Day 5: Siwa / Baharia
Breakfast, transfer by 4x4 car to Bahariya oasis and overnight in Bahariya Oasis.
Day 6: Baharia Sights
Breakfast, enjoy your visits in Bahariya Oasis. Enjoy a tour around the old village and see the groves of palms and fruit trees. Then a trip to the ruin on a hill, 'the English House' at sunset and enjoy the panoramic view. Then onto the 'Golden Valley of Mummies' from the Graeco-Roman period, then visit the Tombs of the Nobles. In the evening, visit the village and shops and overnight at Baharia.
Day 7: White Desert
Take off to the White Desert, passing through the Black Desert and the Valley of El Haize with its hot spring. Stop off to see the quartz crystal at Crystal Mountain, the petrified wood and volcanic rocks in the Valley of Agabat. Camp in the mystical silence of the White Desert, watching the stars. Bedouin dinner and entertainment.
Day 8: Farafra / Dakhla
Drive to Farafra Oasis where you can see the palm groves and hot springs as well as the old village of traditional mud brick houses and local artist Badr's unique mudbrick museum. Then move onto the lush Dakhla Oasis, surrounded by rose-colored cliffs. Overnight at Dakhla.
Day 9: Dakhla
Enjoy a trip to the Roman temple Deir El Hagar in its serene surroundings and the Roman burial ground Mezzawaqqah. Overnight at Dakhla.
Day 10: Kharga
Move onto Kharga Oasis to visit Qasr el Labeka - a Roman fortress on the old caravan route, and the oasis' ethnic museum. Then visit the Roman Temple of Hibis as well as the early Christian cemetery with its chapels painted with murals at Bagawat, nearby. Overnight at Kharga.
Day 11: Kharga
Breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the Temple of Nadura, a romantic Roman ruin in the desert. From there, move on to the Temple of Dush, dedicated to Isis and Serapis, and see Baris Oasis. Overnight at Kharga.
Day 12: Luxor sightseeing
You will be transferred by a modern vehicle Luxor. In the afternoon pay a visit to the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history that was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco Roman period. Then pay a visit to Luxor Temple that was built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 13: West Bank Luxor / Cairo
Early morning, no time is wasted in immersing you incredible excursion takes you to Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial. After that enjoy the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty. Then onto Colossi of Memnon. In the evening transfer to Luxor train station taking the sleeper train to Cairo.
Day 14: Cairo
In the morning meet & assist at Giza train station and transfer to hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 15: Fly Home
Breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for departure.
