Day 1: Arrive Egypt
Welcome to Egypt, the gift of the Nile as described by Herodotus. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by Memphis Tours representative who will help you during passport control, luggage area and customs formalities. Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check in and overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo Sightseeing
After breakfast, relish a day tour of sightseeing by a private vehicle. First, see the ancient capital of Memphis which was founded by King Menes and was the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom. Then proceed to the Step Pyramid at Sakkara which was designed by the architect Imhotep for his master King Zoser. After that, visit the pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus at Giza. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, dates from the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Bahariya Travel
After breakfast, travel by 4x4 vehicle to Bahariya Oasis. Walk around the old village of the oasis and see the groves of palms and fruit trees. Local tour to the hill top ruin ‘the English House’, the Temple of Alexander and the Golden Valley of Mummies. Overnight in Baharia.
Day 4: White Desert
Safari trip to the White Desert passing through the Black Desert and the Valley of El Haize with its hot spring. Stop off to see the quartz crystal at Crystal Mountain and the volcanic rocks and petrified wood in the Valley of Agabat. Upon arrival at the White Desert, tour to the amazing rock formations, watch the sunset, and camp under the stars in this paradise of tranquillity. Bedouin dinner in the desert. Overnight in camp.
Day 5: Farafra / Dakhla Oasis
Travel to Farafra Oasis and tour around to see the palm groves and hot springs, as well as the old village of traditional mud-brick houses, and local artist Badr's unique mud brick museum. Then tour to the lush Dakhla Oasis, surrounded by rose-colored cliffs. Overnight in Dakhla Oases.
Day 6: Dakhla / Kharga Oases
Desert trip around Dakhla Oasis, the last place in Egypt where the water wheels, driven by buffaloes, are constructed. Visit the Roman temple Deir El Hagar in its serene surroundings and the Roman burial ground Mezzawaqqah. Travel on to Kharga Oasis, also famous for its hot springs. Visit Qasr el Labeka - a Roman fortress on the old caravan route. Overnight in Kharga.
Day 7: Luxor Sightseeing
You will be transferred by a modern vehicle Luxor. In the afternoon pay a visit to the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history that was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco Roman period. Then pay a visit to Luxor Temple that was built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 8: West Bank Luxor
Early morning, no time is wasted in immersing you incredible excursion takes you to Valley of the Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial. After that enjoy the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty. Then onto Colossi of Memnon. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 9: Aswan
In the morning transfer to Luxor railway station for departure to Aswan. Start with the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk which is considered the largest piece of stone ever made and most probably this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut, then on to the beautiful Temple of Philae, which is devoted to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. Back to hotel and overnight in Aswan.
Day 10: Abu Simbel / Cairo
Early morning, trip by coach to the impressive temples of Ramsses II at Abu Simbel. Abu Simbel Temples are considered to be the most impressive temples from his own seven Temples Ramesses II built. Then return to Aswan Railway Station for departure to Cairo by first class sleeper train. Overnight on train.
Day 11: Back to Cairo
Breakfast on train, then you will be met and assisted at Giza railway station and transferred to your hotel. Free day and overnight in Cairo.
Day 12: Coptic Cairo
Visit old Coptic Cairo where you can see the Hanging Church, where the nave is suspended from the old Babylon fortress; the Church of St. Barbara, the 4th century Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius & Bacchus), as well as the Jewish Synagogue. Back to hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 13: Cairo / Optional Alexandria
Breakfast, leisure time in Cairo or optional trip to Alexandria where you can see Qaitbay Fort, built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse. See the grand Montazah Palace, which combines Turkish and Florentine architectural styles, then move on to the new and much-acclaimed Alexandria Library. Also visit the Roman cemetery cut out of the rock, the Catacombs. Return to Cairo and overnight.
Day 14: Fly Home
Breakfast, and transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
